USHERS (MEN ONLY): Provides an atmosphere that is safe and conducive for worshipping and receiving the Word of God. Ushers minister in the church as well as in the parking areas.

S.T.A.R.S MINISTRY (Scholarship, Teaching Achievement and Resource Love and Faith Leadership Academy): S.T.A.R.S will connect the youth with necessary leadership training and academic to maximize their potential in order to life-long academic, spiritual physically and financial achievers.

​

NEW MEMBERS MINISTRY: Provides support to new members during the start-up and orientation process. Works with all new members to complete the orientation process, the spiritual gifts test, and signing up for ministries. 

​

MINISTRY OF ENCOURAGEMENT: The Ministry of Encouragement (MOE) supports the vision and mission of Love and Faith by "encouraging one another daily, as long as it is called today so that none of us may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness (Hebrews 3:13).” MOE encourages others through prayer, encouragement cards, calls, sharing God’s word, and acts of kindness as led by the Holy Spirit. We minister to nursing home residents, to those at Bethesda Center for the Homeless, and we participate in school supply and toiletry drives. HOSPITALITY: Host breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. for special events, programs, guest speakers, and meetings each month at church.

BODY FLEX: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own ,20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. Body Flex is an exercise fitness program that allows participants the opportunity to participate in a number of physical exercises to develop and enhance the physical person. This ministry is open to anyone. We meet on the first, second and third Tuesday's of the month at 6:30 pm

DECORATING/SPECIAL EVENTS: To oversee, and plan seasonal decoration and big events for the church, lobby, windows, pulpit, and Life Enrichment Center. Bring forth order and beauty that feels sacred, peace-filled, and loving.

DEAF MINISTRY: An opportunity to interpret and serve our deaf/hard of hearing members, visitors, and friends. Ministry members work to improve their signing skills in order to be used by God. 

​

FINANCIAL FREEDOM MINISTRY: The Financial Freedom Class' Mission is to educate and equip members with knowledge, tools and techniques that enable them to become better financial stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them. Class attendance is open to all Love and Faith members. Class facilitators must have successfully completed Financial Freedom class and tithe consistently. The ministry's base scripture is Luke 16:11 - Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

HEALTH & WELLNESS: To minister to the physical need of the people of God through health awareness and disease prevention by developing and implementing health awareness information and materials which would specifically each age group with age appropriate medical, nutritional, and physical activity information promoting a healthy lifestyle.

GREETERS: Share the heart of our Pastor to receive each person entering/leaving Love and Faith with much love. Lives are touched by ministering through hugs, smiles, witnessing, and encouraging others. 

​

FUNERAL/BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY: The bereavement ministry of Love and Faith assist families during their time of bereavement. Once the church is contacted the families are then contacted  by the ministry leader. The families are then counseled on funeral arrangements how to prepare for the funeral service. We set the order of service, work with the Ushers and Greeters ministry, the Music ministry, as well as the Ministerial ministry to coordinate the services. We set up and feed the families after the services.  There is no set meeting times. The ministry works as needed and is directed by Pastor Thomas. Sis Retha Alford is the ministry leader.

YOUNG CHRISTIAN MILLIONAIRES: Our mission is to educate, encourage, empower, and develop fiscally responsible youth and young adults by teaching them Word based financial principles and reminding them of the plans that God has for their lives.

​

COMMUNION MINISTRY: Matthew 26:26-28. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and brake it and gave it to the disciples and said, take eat, this is my body. Then he took the cup, blessed it and said drink from it all of you. For this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Our mission is to utilize all of our Deacons and Deaconess to serve Holy Communion to the body of Christ. To provide Communion Service through symbolizing the Last Supper; remembering the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Communion is served every third Sunday of the month.
