About Podcasting
What is a podcast?
A
podcast is similar to a mini-radio show you can listen to whenever you want.
Every week, Love & Faith's podcast messages will automatically download to
your computer and appear in iTunes ready for listening.
Do I need an iPod?
No, you don't need an iPod to subscribe to the podcast. You can move the audio file to any portable MP3 player, or just listen to it on your computer.
What do I need to get started?
You'll need a program to download the podcast. We recommend iTunes, which can be downloaded for free at www.apple.com.
Can I still download messages from the website?
Yes!
All Love & Faith messages can still be found here and downloaded for free
whenever you like. Podcasting is just a way to skip the downloading process
and receive the messages automatically.
What happens once I'm subscribed?
Every time you open iTunes, the program will detect whether or not there is a new podcast and download it to your computer. It's that easy!
Note: Only the Sunday 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday 7 p.m. messages will be available for podcasting.
How to subscribe
If you are an iTunes user, follow these steps:
Click on the "Advanced" button on the iTunes menu bar.
Click "Subscribe to Podcast..."
Copy and Paste the following link: http://www.loveandfaith.org/Love%20&%20Faith%20Podcasts/Love_Faith_Podcasts.xml
into the window that pops up and click "OK".
That's it! You're subscribed!
Note: All of these podcasts are also searchable through the iTunes Music Store.
